Nepal got many colleges and institutes who are offering training on
software development and a number of student graduate every year to
take software jobs, however, due to limited in-house software development
work and almost negligible offshore jobs, these students are either
staying idle or taking up other jobs or going abroad in search of software
jobs. Such paradox has prompted us to work-out a plan to set up an
Offshore Development Centre (ODC) in Nepal and work in joint venture
with any interested companies offshore. This will help these young
graduates to exercise their ability within the country that will help
to reduce unemployment to some extent.
